Yield: Makes 6 servings
2 | cans | ( 6 ounces each ) V-8 Low Sodium Cocktail Vegetable Juice | |

1 | lb. | lean ground beef | |
|
|||
1 | egg, slightly beaten | ||
|
|||
1/4 | cup | crushed melba toast | |
|
|||
2 | tablespoons | finely chopped onion | |
|
|||
1/8 | teaspoon | thyme leaves, crushed | |
|
1. In large bowl, mix well 1/4 cup V-8 Juice and remaining ingredients. Shape mixture firmly into 6 individual loaves.
2. In nonstick skillet over medium heat, brown loaves on all sides; spoon off fat. Add remaining juice.
3. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 20 minutes, spooning sauce over loaves often.
